Hello Couponers,
I feel like singing that song from Disney's Pocohontis....A whole New World, because that is what I have entered into this last week. I am learning so much about how to coupon the most cost efficient way. My sister asked me yesterday " Why are you writing a blog about couponing?" She said this in her "I think you are weird" tone of voice. As sarcastic as my wonderful sister can be, I had to ask myself the same question. My answer is that by nature I am an over spender and I am tired of wasting money. Why buy these items full price when I can get them at a discounted price.
I have a few more tips and tools to share with you today.
Ebay is a great tool to buy coupons for super cheap and already clipped! I won a bid on 100 coupons today already clipped for $2.00!!! This is great for those of us that do not get really good coupons in our newspapers. As soon as I receive them I will let you know how good my score was.
Also another really good tip if you have a smart phone, get the barcode scanner app that will check prices at other stores near you. Yesterday I went to search for the perfect coupon binder. I went to office depot just to see what they had. I found exactly what I wanted for $20, now the whole point is to save money not spend it. So I used my scanner on my phone and it told me that Walmart, next door had the same binder for 10 dollars and I was able to get it in pink...yyyeeeaaahhhh! That all for now if you have any advise please comment, also don't forget to follow me on this blog. Thanks a bunch.

Mind Boggling Coupons!
My Husband woke me up this morning to ask if I was dreaming coupons! Apparently I was talking about them in my sleep. I feel like I have been on a roller coaster ride. I have been researching how to coupon for the last three days, realizing that there is actually an art to really saving the most money with coupons. so my purpose for this blog is to help beginners such as myself to take the ride with me. First step, finding the coupons, well that has been pretty easy because they are everywhere.
My small military town of Jacksonville, North Carolina apparently does not have good coupon inserts in the newspaper, so I found myself ordering the New York Times. I also ordered the All You magazine, which supposedly has tons of coupons. Well we will see how it all works this Sunday I will still try and find good newspapers around my city, just in case. Also coupondivas.com has probably been one of the most helpful sites to learn from, because they post video tutorials.
My goal is to start small so that I don't get overwhelmed. Hope this helps you in the beginning phase of your couponing journey. Until next time!!! Christy Wo-10
